Picnic Grove

Under café lights and shade sails, the Picnic Grove is the perfect setting for a quick snack or gathering with family and friends for a cookout.

Custom made of reclaimed wood from Dix Park, 22 custom picnic tables and benches are clustered close to all the action of the adventure playground. Grills and seating are available first come, first served.

• Grilling is only permitted in charcoal grills provided.
• Grills are available on a first come, first serve basis.
• When the grills are in high demand, please limit grill time to one hour.
• You must be 18 or older to operate a grill.
• Alcohol by permit only.
• Keep the park clean and green. Place all trash in the proper bins.
• Ensure ashes, cinders, or coals are completely extinguished before being discarded in metal containers clearly marked "For Charcoal Disposal Only".
