Conservation Corps North Carolina is hosting the Raleigh Youth Crew at Dorothea Dix Park this summer. 

The mission of the Conservation Corps North Carolina (CCNC) is to empower young adults through meaningful outdoor work that benefits North Carolina’s land and water and creates healthy communities. CCNC is hiring for the Raleigh Youth Crew summer jobs now, apply today!

As a member of this environmental stewardship crew, teens will get paid to work on trail maintenance and construction, habitat restoration, forestry, and park improvement projects. The Crew will be supported by Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department staff and partners to explore a variety of natural resource work through educational offerings and hands-on service to become confident stewards of Raleigh’s parks and leaders in their community.  

What: CCNC Raleigh Youth Crew at Dix Park

Who: Teens ages 15-18

Each crew consists of 6-8 youth members and 2 experienced and trained CCNC crew leaders. 

When: Summer, Monday - Friday 

  • Session 1: June 14 - July 9, 2021  
  • Session 2: July 12 - August 6, 2021
