Free online classes for you to practice at home to benefit physical, mental and emotional well-being.
With park programs postponed due to COVID-19 , Dorothea Dix Park is offering a series of free virtual wellness classes that folks can practice at home, in the backyard or even at the park (as long as you are also practicing social distancing).
Beginning Wednesday, April 22, 2020, practice virtually with familiar teachers from the Get Fit at Dix program, along with some new faces to the Dix Park wellness family. Instructors are providing an impressive variety of classes so there is something for everyone:
- Gentle Flow Yoga
- Tai Chi
- Morning Stretches
- Chair Yoga
- Guided Meditation
- Yoga en Español
- Yin Yoga
All Virtual Wellness with Dix Park classes are pre-recorded so you can practice anywhere any time.
Two classes will be posted on the Dix Park YouTube channel starting next week. Each Wednesday the team will add a couple more. You are welcome to try something new and retake any class as many times as you'd like.
