Empowering Wake Day
Empowering Wake Day is a festival to celebrate young people between the ages of 12 and 17 that have volunteered their time and talents in their community. The event will feature a fun atmosphere that include inflatables, silent disco, arts and crafts, and more!

Location: Flowers Field at Dix Park, 2105 Umstead Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603
Know Before You Go:
Parking: From Western Boulevard, turn onto Hunt Drive and enter Dorothea Dix Park. At the stop sign, turn right onto Umstead Drive. Follow the signs to parking. The event will be held in Flowers Field. Click here to download a print-friendly map.
Attire: Walking in grass and up and down hills will be necessary, please dress accordingly. Sunscreen, bug spray, and hats are recommended.
Food and Restrooms: There are no bathrooms in the park so come prepared to only have port-a-johns available. Food trucks will be available on site during the event only.
Pets: Leashed and friendly pets are allowed. Please remember to pick up after your pooch!
